At the heart of the story are eight-year-old Julaa and her young Mongolian horse Tulai as they train together for the race of a lifetime. Eight-year-old Julaa has a big challenge ahead of her. Alongside Tulai, a Mongolian horse built for extraordinary endurance, she prepares to race across the rugged Asian steppe. But before they can take on the course, horse and rider have to learn to work as a team. Academy Award-nominated actor Josh Brolin has built a career spanning more than four decades, from his film debut in The Goonies to acclaimed performances in No Country for Old Men, Milk, True Grit and Sicario. He is also known to audiences around the world as Thanos in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and Gurney Halleck in Dune and Dune: Part Two.
Brolin’s connection to Horse Power goes well beyond the recording booth. He grew up on a ranch in Central California surrounded by horses and other animals and has spoken about developing a deep appreciation for the relationship between horse and rider. That lifelong connection makes him a fitting voice to guide audiences through Horse Power and its stories of the remarkable bond between horses and humans.
