Zach Person is emerging as a dynamic talent, winning the prestigious Eddie’s Attic Bi-Annual Shootout—a distinction he shares with music legends like John Mayer and Tyler Childers. His career has since skyrocketed, thanks to his innovative approach to songwriting, exhilarating live performances, and unwavering dedication to his craft.
Person’s latest album, Let’s Get Loud, is a bold and unapologetic sonic diary of his mid-twenties. Produced by Nashville-based rocker Tyler Bryant, the record showcases Zach’s artistic evolution with an exhilarating mix of head-bobbing funk rhythms and blistering rock anthems. The album’s title reflects Zach’s personal and musical mantra: embracing life and music with unrelenting energy and authenticity.

Indigenous is an American blues rock group that came to prominence in the late 1990s. The band originally consisted of two brothers, Mato Nanji (Maiari) (‘mah-TOE non-GEE’ vocals and guitar, born 1974), Pte (‘peh-TAY’ bass guitar), along with their sister, Wanbdi (‘wan-ba-DEE’ drums, vocals), and their cousin, Horse (percussion).
Their music is influenced by Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimi Hendrix and Carlos Santana. Mato Nanji’s style and skill has drawn comparisons to each of these guitarists. The band has also shared the stage with artists of varying musical genres such as B.B. King, Santana, Bonnie Raitt, Joan Baez, the Indigo Girls, Jackson Browne, Dave Matthews Band, and Los Lonely Boys. The band has headlined its own tours several times.
The Nakota Nation members grew up on South Dakota’s Yankton Indian Reservation, where their father, Greg Zephier became a spokesperson for Native American rights. A musician in his own right during the 1960s and 1970s, Zephier provided his children with records from blues musicians such as B.B. King, Buddy Guy, and Freddie King, and taught them to play their respective instruments. The family started touring together, and soon the children were performing on their own.
Carolyn Wonderland, with her dynamic guitar playing, formidable songwriting, and pure Texas vocals, has more than earned her reputation as a fiercely independent artist. Wonderland plays original, bluesified, cosmic soul music, mixed with heavy doses of Tex-Mex and riff-fueled rock ‘n’ roll. She has been performing professionally since the age of 15 and has led a colorful and adventurous life. On the road her entire career, she’s played with icons from Townes Van Zandt to Levon Helm, from Buddy Guy to Hubert Sumlin, from Bob Dylan to John Mayall, all while writing her own story.
Sydney Lyndella Ward, known professionally as Sunny War, is an American singer and songwriter from Nashville, Tennessee. Her sound is frequently categorized as folk punk, while her songwriting is often described as introspective. Her songs blend rock, gospel, and country music. She began her music career in 2014 with the release of her extended play Worthless, but garnered mainstream attention and critical praise after the release of her 2020s albums.

For the past nineteen years, The Hooten Hallers have been tearing up the road, blending blues, garage rock, country, punk, and jazz into a sound that’s truly their own. This powerhouse trio is driven by the vocal growl and swirling electric and lap steel guitars of John Randall, the powerful drumming and falsetto howl of Andy Rehm, and the burning baritone and bass saxophone lines of Kellie Everett. It’s Morphine meets ZZ Top mixed with a dash of George Thorogood and Tom Waits. But anyone who has seen this band live knows that this group is unlike anything they’ve experienced before. Emerging from nearly two decades’ worth of singalongs while racking up more than half a million miles in a van comes The Hooten Hallers’ 7th official full-length album entitled Van Jams Vol. 1, released April 3, 2026. This collection of songs both resonated with and influenced The Hooten Hallers and spans across decades of rock, punk, country, soul, R&B, and indie but are all delivered with the signature sound that fans have come to expect from the band: dueling vocals between John Randall’s powerful, gravely lows and Andy Rehm’s buttery high tenor, jangly electric guitar, pounding drums, and soaring bass lines on the baritone sax. Bonnie Whitmore is an Austin, Texas-based singer-songwriter, bassist and bandleader whose music blends Americana, country, folk and rock with fearless songwriting and a powerful stage presence. Steel Skarecrow blends classic and contemporary country with red dirt, rock n’ roll, and western swing. This four-member band is known for their polished sound, heartfelt performances, and exceptional musicianship, often leaving audiences eager for more.

Nailbiters is a Kansas-based classic rock band featuring Blayne Albright, Landon Francis, Karter Holinde, Ellis May and Johnny Pernice. The group brings the sounds of the 1970s and 1980s to the stage, performing classic rock favorites while creating and playing original music of their own.
Joe Stumpe is one of Wichita’s most eclectic and entertaining musicians, blending rock, country, dance, blues and jazz into a diverse live set. He also incorporates original songs that showcase his distinctive sound and musicianship.
Whitnie Means and Gabrielle Mercedes, the talent behind Dorothy Means, are Wichita country artists bringing their voices and songwriting talents together for a special live performance. Means began her music career in childhood, while Mercedes has developed her own presence in the local country music scene. Together, they showcase the depth and talent of Wichita’s country music community.
Alan Craddock and Grant Risinger are known for their dynamic acoustic performances and their rock-inspired approach to familiar songs. Their sets combine strong musicianship with a casual, welcoming atmosphere that makes their performances engaging for audiences of all kinds.
Andrew Marc Pelham is a Wichita-based solo singer-songwriter and guitarist who blends timeless classics, modern favorites and heartfelt original songs with an Americana-inspired sound. His performances draw from a wide range of musical influences while maintaining a personal and authentic style.
Cole Ashcraft is a Wichita-based saxophonist, jazz musician and educator bringing plenty of VIBE to the stage. A graduate of Wichita State University’s jazz and contemporary media program, Ashcraft performs with his own quartet and other local ensembles, while also sharing his love of music as an educator.
Kameron Jaso and guitarist Trevor Stewart are Wichita musicians bringing a unique combination of sounds and styles to the stage. Jaso, a Wichita singer and performer, gained national recognition as a contestant on The Voice, bringing his powerful vocals and live performance experience to the stage. Stewart is a musician, composer and educator known for his work with the Chapman Stick and his Native American-inspired ensemble Earthlines. Together, they create a dynamic performance highlighting Wichita’s diverse musical talent.
Just Tori & The Rockies is a Wichita-based live band led by singer-songwriter Tori Campbell. Known for Campbell’s soulful voice and authentic songwriting, the group blends pop, classic rock and country influences into a dynamic live sound.
The amphitheater bowl (turf) is strictly for ground seating. We recommend bringing blankets or cushions for comfort.
The paved portion of the amphitheater space will have chairs provided. All guests are welcome to use the chairs in this area, except for a small section marked off for sponsors. Chairs are first-come, first-served and must remain in their organized rows to maintain aisles and walkways. Please do not move the chairs or try to replace them with your own.
There will be limited space around the amphitheater bowl for lawn chairs. We cannot guarantee that you will be able to use your lawn chair, and encourage you to plan on sitting on blankets/cushions if possible.
We will have space available for accessible seating, including guests utilizing wheelchairs. If you need help with ADA seating, please ask an Exploration Place employee or visit the A/V tent for help.
Please do not move other guests’ belongings, chairs or blankets. If you need assistance with seating, Exploration Place staff and security will be available.
For safety and space reasons, wagons, strollers, scooters, and lawn chairs are not permitted in the amphitheater. Unattended stroller and wagon parking will be available. Please note that the museum is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Restrooms will be open and available inside the museum. Follow the signs for a shortcut through Water Way Terrace near the amphitheater area – look for the blue “restrooms” flag!
Gates open at 6:00 pm to allow time for seating and to enjoy the food trucks. The opening act will start at 7:00 pm and the headliner will begin around 8:00 pm.
Please be mindful of others by keeping noise to a minimum and staying seated during the concert (unless you need to pop out for a restroom or snack break, of course).
In case of inclement weather, check our website or social media for updates. We will also use outdoor overhead announcements if necessary. In the event of inclement weather, the museum will still be open until 9 pm, even if the Levitt Vibe Wichita Concert Series gets canceled.
