New Bricktopia Exhibit Brings LEGO Mania to Exploration Place
January 23, 2024
WICHITA, Kansas — Bricktopia – featuring three distinct exhibits – opens Friday at Exploration Place and runs through May 5.
Million Brick Madness: Exploration Place has brought in a colossal 3,300 pounds of LEGO® – a literal 1 million bricks! – to create an epic playground of imagination. Guests of all ages can build and sort to their hearts’ content.
Brick Dinos: Enter the Jurassic period and meet dinosaurs face to face, each one built by official LEGO master artist Warren Elsmore.
Adrift: Lost at Sea: In 1997, 5 million LEGO bricks spilled into the ocean from a container ship. This exhibit tells the fascinating story of what happened next.
The cost to visit Exploration Place, which includes admission to Bricktopia, is $12 for adults, $10 for seniors, $10 for youth and free for ages 2 and under. Bricktopia is presented with the support of Let’s Go Build, Air Capital Waste, Lusco Brick & Stone, Pinnacle Realty Group, the Shaw Family Foundation and Wichita Rentals.
