As the largest science and discovery center in the state of Kansas, Exploration Place strives to inspire curiosity, spark creativity and foster a lifelong love of learning through interactive exhibits, engaging programs and immersive experiences for people of all ages.
Exploration Place is seeking an enthusiastic, organized individual to join our development team as our Volunteer Coordinator. This full-time position will recruit, train and schedule volunteers for the whole organization, while maintaining a culture of volunteer involvement, support and appreciation.
Applicants must have excellent team management, communication and organizational skills. Previous experience in volunteer management or a related role is preferred. Other necessary skills include proficiency in Microsoft Office, acute attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills.
