Visitor Services Associate
Exploration Place is all about inspiring a deeper interest in science through creative and fun experiences for people of all ages. If you are someone who enjoys working with people of all ages in a fun, high-paced environment and you use good, sound judgment, this job may be for you! Exploration Place seeks to fill a part-time position working with a dynamic team.
Hours will vary. Evening and weekend hours are required.
Necessary skill set includes: customer service orientated, strong leadership capabilities, money handling experience, problem solving skills, computer proficiency and ability to stand and/or walk for long periods of time.
Candidate must be detail-oriented, positive and upbeat and able to think quickly under pressure, speak to large crowds of people, multitask, work independently or as a team and lift 50 pounds.
Supervisory experience and fluency in Spanish a plus.
