Exploration Place, the state’s premier science museum, is embarking on an exciting expansion, including the introduction of a new concession building set to open in fall 2025. We are seeking a Food and Beverage Manager to play a crucial role in this growth, focusing not just on managing our existing operations but on creating and executing a forward-thinking food and beverage strategy that aligns with our mission and enhances the visitor experience. This position presents a unique opportunity to influence our museum’s future and make a lasting impact on our community.
As our Food and Beverage Manager, you will have the ability to make a significant impact on the overall guest experience, from managing our Snack Lab, satellite locations, and vending machines, to curating various food and beverage experiences for venue rentals and special events. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the food and beverage landscape of Exploration Place for many years to come.
The successful candidate must have 3-5 years of experience in food and beverage management preferably in a museum, restaurant or hospitality setting. Strong operational skills including vendor management, staff leadership and budgeting are required. A demonstrated ability to lead with an entrepreneurial mindset, including experience in implementing a food service operation, is preferred but not mandatory.
