The Exploration Place Education Team is actively seeking enthusiastic and responsible camp leaders to guide elementary-aged (ages 6-13) children through immersive STEM activities. As a dynamic camp leader, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a positive enjoyable experience featuring science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. We provide comprehensive training, a well-developed curriculum, and all necessary equipment for each camp day. Your enthusiasm, dedication, and energy will truly bring the camp to life.
Team member tasks include applying effective classroom management and student engagement techniques to establish a safe and enjoyable environment for children. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 6 months experience working with children, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver’s license. While not mandatory, a Bachelor’s degree in education or science, along with First Aid/CPR/AED certification, is preferred. Fluency in Spanish is a valuable asset. All candidates must successfully pass a background check, including fingerprinting and a drug screen.
