How to Get To Exploration Place
You can easily access our museum, as we are centrally located in downtown Wichita, Kansas, along the scenic Arkansas River. If you drive, major streets including McLean Boulevard and First/Second lead you conveniently to our main entrance. You can also access us via several walking paths that surround our museum and grounds.

Parking
Pull up and drop off your passengers in our newly renovated circle drive, then park in one of the many convenient, free parking spaces. Buses can drop off and pick up in the circle drive. Parking for buses, trailers, etc., are available to the west end of the lot.
Note: Parking lot gates open at 8 a.m. and close at 6 p.m. daily.
Public Transportation
City bus routes run by our museum, and taxis are available if you call for a ride. Most out-of-town visitors, who don’t have personal vehicles, will either walk from nearby hotels, rent a vehicle or use a rideshare service.
