Projectiles in Space
This hands-on activity challenges participants to launch their rocket toward a lunar landing zone while exploring the science behind motion, trajectory, and accuracy. Experiment with each launch and discover what it takes to make a successful mission.

Laser Communications
This hands-on activity explores how light can be reflected and redirected while challenging participants to think critically and solve problems along the way. Experiment with different mirror positions and discover what it takes to successfully hit the target.

Astronaut Training
Experience the disorienting effects of space travel! Spin in a Barany chair while blindfolded to discover how astronauts train to overcome balance and orientation challenges in space.

Moonquakes
Create your own simulated moonquakes and see how scientists use seismographs to study vibrations, helping engineers design safe habitats for future lunar explorers.
Geode Cracking
The levers are compressed, and the chain tightens, creating a circle of pressure points around the circumference of the geode. This tremendous pressure breaks open the geode, exposing the beautiful crystals inside. Participants will be able to take their geode home with them!
