Serengeti: A Journey to the Heart of AfricaBe Awed by How Nature Works in the Serengeti

Life happened in the Serengeti on an unprecedented scale. It’s home to most of Africa’s iconic animals and hosts one of the world’s greatest natural events — the annual wildebeest migration. Nature has orchestrated a perfect symphony in which every species has a very distinct role to play in a larger story — the balance of an entire ecosystem. We’ll see it through the eyes of the youngest members of our animal cast as they imitate their parents and learn about the mighty roles they’ll play.

Serengeti is produced by Definition Films and is distributed by K2 Studios.

Showing through May 18 in the Dome.

What People Are Saying

"This beautiful and powerful film shows us that there are places where natural processes continue, just as they have for millennia. In a sea of bad news about our changing natural world, it provides a welcome ray of hope."

Peyton West, Executive Director, Frankfurt Zoological Society U.S.

"With Serengeti, K2 Studios brings us closer to the majestic Serengeti, its wildlife, and our own connection to this iconic ecosystem."

Gayane Margaryan, Director, Marketing & Creative, African Wildlife Foundation
