Exploration Place Announces Extended Hours for the Holiday Season

Exploration Place invites visitors to explore the museum after dark this holiday season. It’s always warm and cozy at Exploration Place, with exhibits, live science shows and dome films available.
Exploration Place will be open late until 8 p.m. every day from now until the end of the year. The exceptions are Christmas Eve (5 p.m. closing) and Christmas Day (closed all day).
Arctic Adventure is the museum’s special seasonal exhibit, containing interactive games and a sock-skating rink. The Fire & Ice live science show is a battle of polar opposites with experiments determined by the spin of a wheel.
In the Dome, guests have two options after 5 pm. The Arctic: Our Last Great Wilderness reveals a vast and wild place in the far north of Alaska. The Dark Side of the Moon celebrates the iconic album’s 50th anniversary with the only large-screen film endorsed by Pink Floyd itself. The show is a cosmic odyssey with immersive sounds and visuals.
