    Saturday, May 4, the National Math Festival takes place in Washington, DC. We’ll be celebrating locally by hosting a day of Geometric Bubble Blowing at Exploration Place!Can you imagine making a square bubble? How about a cubic, spiral, saddle-shaped, wormhole, or parabolic-shaped bubbles? At ourZometool bubble station, everyone from young kids to grown-ups can explore how the principle of “minimal surfaces” makes possible not just round bubbles, but many surprising geometric forms usingdifferently shaped bubble frames. Join the fun! #2019NMF is included with general museum admission, free for members!

    In a world where most movie screens are confined by walls, one screen IS a wall!     Make a splash at the Arkansas River with Wichita Clean Streams the second Saturday of each month. Test water quality and discover different pH levels of local H20.
    Wichita Clean Streams was established in 2014 to develop and implement water quality improvement projects in the community that restore and protect the overall health of the river.
    In addition to water quality improvement projects, Wichita Cleans Streams provides water quality education to community members through community outreach.
