Public Programs Associate (Part-time)
This position works with our Public Programs Team. Responsibilities include: conducting interactive activities for our visitors, working in our Dome Theatre and CreatorSpace, performing science demonstrations and assisting with visitors and daily upkeep in our galleries, etc. Public Programs Associates must be enthusiastic, friendly and comfortable interacting with the public. Hours will vary. Evening and weekend hours are required. Fluency in Spanish a plus.

Science Educator (Part-time)
This position will educate guests in an informal manner through educational programs and science interpretation.This educator will work with all ages through museum-based and outreach programs. He or she will perform many duties such as developing and presenting programs for a variety of audience sizes, delivering hands-on activities, facilitating inquiry-based learning, and serving as a program and education resource for visitors and staff. This position includes weekends and holidays as required. A valid driver's license and a good driving record are required. Demonstrated experience teaching science to groups of children in a dynamic, fun, engaging, high paced environment is highly preferred. Bachelor's degree in education or science is required; advanced degree preferred. Fluency in Spanish is a plus.

Visitor Services Associate (Part-time)
This position's responsibilities include: greeting visitors, selling tickets, food and store products, conducting tours, helping with before and aftercare for camp participants, balancing cash drawers, answering phone calls, etc. Visitor Services Associates must be enthusiastic, friendly and comfortable interacting with the public. Hours will vary. Evening and weekend hours are required. Fluency in Spanish a plus.

Facilities and Exhibits Manager (full-time)
This position will be responsible for all aspects of maintaining the facility, exhibits and grounds. Several of the job responsibilities include the maintenance and repair of all HVAC, electrical and plumbing equipment, supervision of the technical services and custodial staff, compliance with all building codes, ordinances and laws and the planning and oversight of traveling exhibit installations and de-installations. This position requires a good work ethic, attention to detail, strong management and organizational skills and a positive attitude. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Prior experience in facilities management required. Fluency in Spanish a plus. Work schedule is generally Monday through Friday, with a 40 hour week but must be able to respond to emergencies and be flexible to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
