Facility Rentals Associate (Part-time)
This position's responsibilities include: the set-up and tear-down of tables before, during and after events, assisting caterers, keeping the rented areas clean and addressing the needs of those renting the space. Hours may vary depending on the seasonal fluctuations of scheduled events. A physical requirement of this position is ability lift over 50 lbs. and move large tables and chairs. Excellent customer service skills are a must.

Public Programs Associate (Part-time)
This position works with our Public Programs Team. Responsibilities include: conducting interactive activities for our visitors, working in our Dome Theatre and CreatorSpace, performing science demonstrations and assisting with visitors and daily upkeep in our galleries, etc. Public Programs Associates must be enthusiastic, friendly and comfortable interacting with the public. Hours will vary. Evening and weekend hours are required. Fluency in Spanish a plus.

Visitor Services Associate (Part-time)
Responsibilities include: greeting visitors, selling tickets, food and store products, conducting tours, helping with before and aftercare for camp participants, balancing cash drawers, answering phone calls, etc. Hours will vary. Evening and weekend hours are required. Visitor Services Associates must be enthusiastic, friendly and comfortable interacting with the public. Fluency in Spanish a plus.

Custodial Associate (Full-time)
The Custodial Associate's job duties will include cleaning the facility and outside grounds, the set-up and tear-down of tables before and after daytime events, etc. A physical requirement of this position is to move large tables and chairs. Must have a general knowledge of cleaning supplies, cleaning equipment and safe work practices. A high school diploma or equivalent and custodial experience required. Weekend and holiday hours may be required.

Tech Services Associate (Full-time)
The Tech Services position will be responsible for general repairs of exhibits, maintenance of building equipment and assisting with traveling exhibit installation and de-installation. Must be knowledgeable in mechanical engineering and fabrication applications, skilled in power tool usage, familiar with safe shop practices and able to lift up to 50 pounds. Fluency in Spanish a plus.

Technology Specialist (Full-time)
This position will provide direct support for the organization's electronic hardware, software, audio-visual, network and related systems. Job responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing equipment for exhibits, classrooms and theaters, maintenance of the systems that operate the lighting, HVAC, security camera, internet, data backup, phone and other systems, compliance with PCI standards, safeguarding from cyber threats, the ability to analyze and respond to problems quickly and a good understanding of how to use schematic drawings. Requires a college, technical or trade school degree with experience in the computer, networking and electronics fields. Work schedule is generally Monday through Friday, with a 40 hour week.
